Thank you for choosing Upper Room Home Furnishings for all of your home furnishing needs. Please take a moment to review this helpful information and policies.

All sales are Final.

Deposits on custom orders are non-refundable.

Delivery of items is based on estimated arrival times and is no way a guarantee.

Tentative Delivery Dates:

We will do our utmost to respect and meet the indicated tentative arrival fate of your merchandise; however unforeseen circumstances and factors beyond our control may affect the date given. Upper Room Home Furnishings will not be responsible for manufacture delays.

Delivery Policy:

When your item(s) arrive we will contact you to schedule your delivery. We can hold or store your product for a maximum of 30 days after the items arrive as long as the balance has been paid in full. Once the 30 days expires, you will be charged a storage fee of $200.00 per month.

In the event your items arrive earlier than quoted, we can hold your items free of charge until the end of your quoted time frame.

Our trucks are routed by area and therefore exact times cannot be provided. Actual delivery time may vary based on traffic and weather conditions. You will be contacted the day prior to delivery to confirm the address information and time frame. In preparation for your delivery and to prevent damages ensure that your walk ways, hallways, and area you would like the furniture placed is clear of existing furniture and any items that may obstruct the path of the delivery team. At the time of delivery an individual 18 years of age or older must be present to accept and sign for your delivery. Your signature on the delivery receipt acknowledges that you have received and inspected your merchandise and items are in good condition unless otherwise noted.

Our delivery teams will deliver your new product and are not responsible for the removal or disposal of your existing merchandise unless otherwise noted or agreed upon at the time of sale.

In the event that furniture does not fit into your home please contact your sales associate for assistance. Restocking fees of 25% will apply for any items returned that do not fit.

If you are not home at the agreed upon delivery date and have not notified us, or if you refuse your delivery for non-damaged items you will be charged an additional delivery fee.

Merchandise Pick Up's

We are happy to assist you in loading your merchandise into your vehicle from our Warehouse location however it is your responsibility to ensure that product is properly secured. The Upper Room is not responsible for any damage to your item(s) or vehicle once it has left our building possession. Pick up of merchandise from showroom locationsis the sole responsibility of the client to load and secure any items. Our showrooms are not equipped in the same manner as the warehouse location and due to safety reasons our reception and sales teams are not able to load or secure items.

Service Policy:

The Term Damaged/Defective as used shall mean that product does not meet or exceed the manufactures specifications. Including merchandise that contains damaged surfaces or parts at the time of delivery. Damaged/Defective does not include (i) Markings on surfaces that are distressed as part of the design or nature (ii) variances that are considered inherent of natural products such as stone, leather, wood grain, (iii) colour, style or other aesthetic reasons including size or dimenstions.

If an item is delivered damaged, please ensure it is clearly noted on your delivery receipt and it will be repaired to new condition. Your items are covered under a manufactures warranty and as such will be repaired to new condition.

We reserve the right to refuse exchanges where (i) the product is not damaged/defective, or (ii) the product shows evidence of misuse or abuse. No returns, exchanges are permitted on accessories, as-is, final sale items, mattresses or foundations.

W5: Custom Care Five Year Extended Warranty:

Please ensure to review the documentation provided at the time of sale with regards to your additional coverage purchased. The intent of the additional warranty is to cover accidental damages caused by a specific incident that is reported within seven days. Product Care:

In order to make the most of your new purchase and to enjoy your item(s) for years to come, please ensure that you are providing regular care and maintenance. This includes, regular conditioning and cleaning of leathers, woods and fabrics. Leather items require conditioning and cleaning approximately every six months. Wood products can be dusted and wiped gently with adamp cloth. Ensure to remove any liquid spills from wood product to prevent the liquid from penetrating the finish. Fabrics should be cleaned only by means of the manufactures cleaning code. Regular vacuuming with soft attachment is recommended to avoid pilling. Refrain from using any chemical product on any items as it may damage the piece and will void your warranty.
